Thursday
An Evening with Max Weinberg (Ticket Required)
9 p.m., Schine Underground
Max Weinberg will discuss his role with the Conan O’Brien Show, The E-Street Band and how his Jewish background has influenced his career.
Tickets are available at the Schine Box Office. Tickets are $5 for students, faculty, and staff. General admission tickets, for non-students and alumni are also $5. To purchase tickets online, please visit the Schine Box Office's website, http://students.syr.edu/boxoffice. Online ticket sales are available until Sun., Oct. 10. You can also call the box office at (315) 443.4517 or purchase them directly from the box office during their regular hours of operation. Additionally, tickets will be available at the door, the evening of the show.

Reunion Gala Luncheon
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Goldstein Auditorium, Schine Student Center
The luncheon puts our milestone reunion classes center stage. Champagne reception and awards presentation of Syracuse University's highest honor, the George Arents Award, created to recognize our alumni who are pioneers and leaders in their fields.
Reservations were previously required. This event is now full. No additional space is available.
Honoring Karen B. Winnick ′68
For Excellence in The Arts and Literacy Advocacy
Spanning the Decades of Jewish Life at Syracuse University
2-4 p.m., Winnick Hillel Center, 102 Walnut Place
In this panel discussion, alumni from different decades will discuss the rich Jewish heritage that is such a part of Syracuse University's history.
Advance registration is requested, but not required, for alumni and friends of the program. Click HERE to register. Current students, faculty, and staff are also welcome to attend (no registration necessary).

Orange Central Bash
4-5 p.m., Goldstein Auditorium. Schine Student Center
A high-energy event recognizing ordinary people who have done extraordinary things in their communities. The event will feature live music and complimentary refreshments. Advance registration is requested, but not required, for alumni and friends of the program. Click HERE to register. Honoring the Miriam Loewy Friend Hillel Program (at the Winnick Hillel Center for Jewish Life at Syracuse University), Gift of Life Campaign. Through the Gift of Life campaign, the Miriam Loewy Friend Hillel Program registers potential bone marrow donors and raises awareness for the need to maintain and grow bone marrow donor lists. Since 2004, Hillel’s three drives have registered more than 1,800 students, faculty, and staff. Michael Weiss ’12, president of Hillel at Syracuse University, will accept the award.

Come to Shabbat to meet the Winnicks! It's a great way to make a connection with alumni that have supported and made Hillel possible.
